Wisconsin

I drove into Madison on August 8th and first went by the Capitol Building, then decided to go to Blue Mounds Caverns at Cave of the Mounds.

Road Stop

Capitol Building
The caverns were pretty cool the only draw back was I of course had to go on the tour with 12 Kindergartners.  I knew as soon as I saw them roll up in that school bus I would get stuck with them.  Now I don't have a problem with kids I just don't want to be stuck in a cave with them, especially with the echo and their screeching voices, but I was.

Caverns
One kid did not care, and like the other two adults that were on the tour with me said "she is on her own tour" she was growling, saying stuff I could not decipher, and screaming.  At one point the guy was trying to look in a hole and she pushed him back so he couldn't see inside.  I told him you do not get to see that today.

Blue Mounds

The caves were freezing at about 50 degrees.  One of the kids started crying cause she was cold and then the next moment shes crying cause she's scared on the dark.  I'm not sure if its just me, but you may want to find out if a kid is scared of the dark before you take them into a cave.
