South Dakota

So there are a ton of things to do in South Dakota.  I continued on from Mount Rushmore to Rapid City to see Dinosaur Park.  Best thing about this park is that it's freeeee.  I thought there were only five dinosaur statues, but according to the brochure there were seven.  I don't know what it is, but I keep missing things.  I've missed state signs, missed the Jefferson sign at Rushmore, and I missed two dinosaurs.  The park is mainly for kids, but it was on my way, so I decided I would stop.

I don't know what kind of Dinosaur this is

Brontosaurs

Stegosaurus

Tyrannosaurus Rex
From there I decided to check out the town Deadwood.  This town was pretty cool, it's really small, but has a lot of things, especially casinos.  The Midwest has a ton of casinos, even at gas stations.  Deadwood is the town made famous by Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jame, amongst others.

Calamity Jane and Wild Bill only knew each other for a few days, but when she died she said she wanted to be buried next to him, and she was.
